This paper examines how parametric emotion‑eliciting expressions affect user emotions in virtual environments, focusing on individual emotional differences. In a VR scenario of balancing childcare and work, the parameters of a child’s smile and clock‑ticking speed were varied to measure joy and anxiety. Emotional intensity increased with parameter levels, but differences between levels were not significant. Work experience length also influenced anxiety responses. Future work will introduce clearer parameter variations to reproduce individual emotional intensity based on self‑evaluations. |
