This paper reports on CVSports 2026, held in conjunction with CVPR 2026, and introduces recent trends in sports video analysis. First, the overview of the workshop and the transition of submission and acceptance numbers are summarized. Next, research trends are discussed using word clouds based on accepted paper titles, focusing on 3D information, ball analysis, dataset construction, and benchmarking. Finally, two selected studies are introduced: pitch type anticipation from pre-release baseball pitching motion and real-time golf club pose estimation. |
