Investigation of Multi-Resolution “Good-Product Imagery (GPI)” for Visual Inspection

In recent years, anomaly detection methods using pre-trained models, like PatchCore and PaDiM, have been getting a lot of attention. On the other hand, our research group has proposed an anomaly detection method based on a good-product model that doesn’t use deep learning, which we call the 'Good-Product Imagery (GPI).' In this study, we especially look into the effect of multiplying the size of local reference areas in the good-product model. Specifically, we maintain the good-product model at multiple resolutions. We conducted experiments using public datasets and will report on the results that demonstrate its effectiveness. |
