Efficient neural network inference under limited computational resources is essential for edge AI. This paper presents an FPGA implementation of a binarized MLP-Mixer using FINN, with weights and primary activations quantized to 1 bit. The complete inference pipeline is implemented as a streaming architecture and evaluated on a PYNQ-Z1 board using the MNIST dataset. The FPGA predictions match those of the fixed-point reference model used in FINN for all 10,000 test images. The implementation achieves a classification accuracy of 83.12% and a throughput of 55.6 images/s, including input and output DMA transfers. |
