the receiving characteristics for the one segment portable receivers

(in English) One-segment portable receivers have been rapidly spread in recent years. We have measured the basic characteristics of ten receivers released in 2007. We measured front-end characteristics using the unique method that uses both a newly developed radio anechoic box and an anechoic chamber as measurement items, because there was no clearly-defined method for measuring the reception characteristic of one-segment portable receiver.
Some characteristics vary among receivers. For example, required electric field intensity changes in the time due to the noise generated inside of the receiver.
