Development of TSP Switch using Packet Routing Method
Murayama Kenichi (NHK)
Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) Digital terrestrial broadcasting network uses more TTL links rather than analog network in order to construct Single Frequency Network (SFN).Therefore even instantaneous TS-STL shut off propagates following TS-TTL links and influence on broadcasting service is not negligible, because a longer time is required for whole network resynchronization. In this report, development and evaluation result of TS switcher, that is able to reduce the influence on the service by implementing a function to eliminate anomaly packet, is described.
