Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) Relay stations are frequently configured as SFN on ISDB-T network in Japan. SFN relay stations should maintain time delay within their guard intervals (126µs) in their common service area. However, the former channel equalizer can not often keep them because of its long processing time, approximately 8ms. A new channel equalizer was developed to shorten its processing time with approximately 17µs. FIR filters are introduced for multi-path equalization. This paper describes a laboratory test result, which verified the performance of this new equalizer. Also, an example of usage of the equalizer on the SFN network is shown.
