Study of Method for Partial Quick Replacement of Program Files -- Toward Operational Efficiency of Program Production in Broadcasting Station --

(in English) In program production system of broadcasting station that handles program files and makes use of computer servers and networks, finished program files are registered for broadcasting by being transferred to registration server. Even if a program file has already registered, the program file is sometimes partially modified. At this point, the registered program file should be quickly replaced to modified one. So, in order to replace only modified parts of the program file, we developed
both a method for detecting modified parts in a short time and filesystem capable of inserting and deleting blocks. We also experimentally confirmed that a modified program file can be quickly replaced to registered one by using these techniques.
