[Invited Talk] Classification and Evaluation of Autostereoscopic Displays

(in English) Outlines of the classification and the variation of autostereoscopic displays, the basic concept of the qualified viewing space (QVS) especially for autostereoscopic viewing, and the required optical measurement items in order to qualify such a warranted viewing space are described. As the Japanese mirror committee for ISO TC 159/SC 4/WG 2, we have studied and discussed these issues with a view to establishing a technical report.
