The next gaze is determined by visual information in the peripheral field. A saliency map model proposed in the previous studies give an assumption to induce eye movements, but it doesn’t predict the order of successive gazes. In our study we aim to clear the visual stimulus conditions in which our gazes are induced. A target with a certain luminance contrast was presented among distractors with a fixed luminance contrast. We measured the threshold of inducing early eye movements, and also measured the detection threshold. As a result the threshold of target detection was 61% contrast. However the threshold for inducing early eye movements was not determined. |
