We demonstrated a parallel phase-shifting digital holography using a high-speed camera as a technique capable of three-dimensional image capturing and measurement for fast moving objects. The camera has polarizer function, and each pixel of the camera can select linear polarization of each direction individually. We constructed the experimental system consisting of a quarter-wave plate and the high-speed camera. Two elastic bands which vertically vibrated were used as fast moving objects. The system first succeeded in parallel phase-shifting digital holography and three-dimensional imaging of dynamically fast moving objects at the speed of 180,000 frames/s for the image consisting of 128 × 128 pixels. The achieved frame rate is the fastest among the phase-shifting interferometry which have been ever reported, to our best knowledge. |
