Electro-Holography with Phase Modulation Type Liquid Crystal Display and Special-Purpose Computer for Phase Hologram

(in English) There are an amplitude modulation type and a phase modulation type in the hologram. Recently, not only the amplitude modulation type liquid crystal display but also the phase modulation type has come to be seen. Then, we constructed the electro-holography system with the phase modulation type liquid crystal display, and compared the current amplitude electro-holography. The phase hologram with high diffraction efficiency has produced an excellent result. The reconstructed image is bright even if the gray level is increased, and all amount of information of the liquid crystal display can be used – 256 gray levels. Currently, we are designing the special purpose computer for the phase hologram.
