Optimization of radius of blurring in wire net removal from multiple focus images

When an image is taken through a wire net, the wire net influences the image quality of a subject. Therefore, it is necessary to restore the subject image without wire net overlap by image processing. A method for wire net removal has been already proposed using multiple focus images. It removes the overlapping effects of defocused wire net. However, this method determines the essential parameter of blurring radius manually. This paper proposes a method for determining the parameter automatically to restore the subject image without wire net. Experimental results showed the effectiveness of the proposed method. |
