Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) In this paper, first, we introduce a practical equivalent circuit modeling for the automotive electromagnetic compatibility (EMC). Our modeling covers the inside of an integrated circuit (IC) on a printed circuit board (PCB), an attached wire harness, and parasitic elements around them. The equivalent circuit is suitable for the simulation of the common-mode current caused by switching devices in the IC, and thereby becoming the electromagnetic interference (EMI) source among automotive electronic devices. With the proposed equivalent circuit, more detailed and valid simulation and optimization can be performed for the common-mode noise reduction. Adequacy of our model is shown by confirming that the simulation results of the equivalent circuit agree with the actual measurement results of an evaluation board.
