[Poster Presentation] Design of high-speed motion-vector-detection image sensor by using one x three pixels matching

(in English) In this paper, we propose a method of motion vector detection at a high frame rate on an image sensor and describe the design of the image sensor on which the method is implemented. In the proposed method, motion vector can be detected by 1×3 pixels matching with controlling the processing interval at a high frame rate. Additionally, the detection accuracy is much improved by restricting direction of the block and the search range using the direction of the edge pixels. The decimal-accuracy motion can be also detected by using movement information detected by the integer-accuracy matching. Thus, highly accurate motion vector detection is achieved.
