Gyrator circuit and its applications for multiband receiver

(in English) An ultimate multiband radio receiver might convert RF signals to digital signals by an analog-digital converter (ADC). Such ADC requires ultra high-resolution and ultra fast sampling rate. It is unacceptable for portable wireless communication systems. Therefore, analog circuits cannot be eliminated from those terminals. In this paper, we proposed analog circuits (VCO, active filter, LNA) design with gyrator-C network for multiband receiver. We designed and tested the proposed circuits using TSMC 0.18um CMOS process. We also confirmed the operation of a fabricated LNA.
