Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) A VHF band (160MHz band) communication radio for broadcasting operation is used as the communication means in the urgent report and the program production. An evaluation test was performed using a digital audio compression encoding scheme adopted as 4FSK system communication walkie-talkie. Evaluation method of quality assessment is as follows; changing a received electric field strength level and comparing the performance with an analog (FM) system. As a result, we could get useful knowledge in actual practical use. We also evaluated the distinction of sex of the speaker, background noise and influence of the delay time.
