Parallel Post-processing using GPU for Reproduced Data Page in Holographic Memory

(in English) A holographic memory has advantages of large capacity as well as high data-transfer-rate because it records or reproduces a two-dimensional data array called "data page" in one light irradiation, which can be regarded as a graphics image. Meanwhile, a GPU (Graphics processing unit), which is generally used in a video board equipped on personal computer, is specialized for parallel and fast graphics image processing and has many cores to conduct the same executable code for the different processing regions. We describe a GPU-based post-processing in holographic memory and present the measured time for processing.
