Unbalanced Fed Inverted L Antenna composed of a Microstrip Line on a Finite Dielectric Substrate

(in English) In this paper, the unbalanced fed inverted L antenna composed of a microstrip line(MSL) on a finite dielectric substrate is proposed for the antenna of PC card. This antenna is numerically analyzed. The MSL is located close to the edge of dielectric substrate. Therefore, the line width is changed so that its characteristic impedance because 50Ω. The input impedance of the antenna adjustied by changing the length of line and theridth of ground conductor plate. In the numerical analysis, the electromagnetic simulator WIP L-D based on the Method of Moment is used.
