A Note on Accurate Restoration of Latent Image from Blurred Image -- Ringing Artifact Suppression using Prior Probability including Edge Direction-based Weighting Parameters --

(in English) This paper presents an accurate image restoration method including ringing artifact suppression. The proposed method estimates a latent image by maximizing by posteriori probability. For ringing artifact suppression, direction-based weighting parameters are introduced into the prior probability of the latent image, which are necessary to derive the posteriori probability. Therefore, accurate image restoration can be realized by ringing artifact suppression as well as edge preservation.
