Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) NHK is conducting research on Next-generation Digital Terrestrial Broadcasting using UHF band to enable large-volume content services such as Super Hi-Vision. For the construction of SFN in Next-generation Digital Broadcasting, we have evaluated the transmission characteristics of Dual-polarized MIMO-OFDM under multipath environment. In this paper, we propose a method to improve the transmission characteristics in adverse multipath environment and report on the simulation verification of its improvement.
