Applicaion Study of SC-FDE for Millimeter-wave band FPU

(in English) The authors have been studying on single-carrier transmission with frequency domain equalization (SC-FDE) for millimeter-wave band FPU (Field Pick-up Unit; outside broadcast millimeter-wave link). Transmission performance of SC-FDE system is simulated in AWGN and static multi-path channels, and compared to that of OFDM (Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) system with consideration for PAPR (Peak to Average Power Ratio). The result shows that SC-FDE system can be applicable in multi-path environment and improve PAPR characteristics significantly.
