Implantable CMOS image sensors are expected to be a powerful tool for brain neural imaging with high spatiotemporal resolution. In this work, we focused on cooperative activities through intrabrain networks. To deal with the issue, we developed a CMOS imaging device that enables to observe neural activities in multiple area of a rat brain widely. We implanted the device into a rat brain and demonstrated in-vivo multi-area imaging of neural activities. |
