[Poster Presentation] Wavefront Coding by Selecting PSFs Based on Disparity Estimation

(in English) The Wavefront Coding (WFC) is a technique of extending depth of field by restoring the image blurred through the phase mask in the lens. Theoretically, the blur can be approximately represented by a single point spread function (PSF). However, in actual situations, the blur by the phase mask changes depending on subject-distances, which leads to degradation of the approximation and restoration precision. In this paper, we aim to improve the quality of WFC by selecting appropriate PSFs according to subject-distances estimated with the stereo matching. Evaluation experiments show the effectiveness of the proposed method qualitatively and quantitatively.
