Analysis of SAR due to Wireless Microphone Considering its Operation

(in English) The wireless microphone is used for television and radio program productions, concerts, stage dramas, and so on. The regulation of SAR for the wireless microphone is currently discussed; however, few studies have been performed concerning the SAR on the human body due to the wireless microphone. We designed a helical antenna with a metallic case as a handheld type of wireless microphones and calculated the SAR with a numerical model of the human body. From the results, we found that the peak of 10g average SAR on human body is lower than 0.2 [W/kg] when the output power of the antenna is 50mW.
