The wireless microphone is used for television and radio program productions, concerts, stage dramas, and so on. The regulation of SAR for the wireless microphone is currently discussed; however, few studies have been performed concerning the SAR on the human body due to the wireless microphone. We designed a helical antenna with a metallic case as a handheld type of wireless microphones and calculated the SAR with a numerical model of the human body. From the results, we found that the peak of 10g average SAR on human body is lower than 0.2 [W/kg] when the output power of the antenna is 50mW. |
