Recognition of Cuboid Block Secnes from Monocular Images Considering Spatial Relationship between Blocks

(in English) In this report, we propose a method of recognizing cuboid block scenes from monocular images. Cuboid blocks are represented by CAD models, and several promising models are generated at each location in a scene. Fidelity of block models to edges extracted from images, interrelations between adjoining block models, and relations that block models are occluding/occluded along the sight line of a camera are evaluated by use of the Markov Random Field (MRF) model that is composed of block models. The most likely state of the MRF model is obtained by minimizing a posteriori energy function defined on the MRF model. The proposed method is applied to actual block-world scenes.
