Improvement of Grayscale Representation of Screen Scanning-Type Super Multi-View Display

(in English) We have developed the screen scanning-type super multi-view display, which solves the visual fatigue problem caused by the vergence-accommodation conflict. The screen scanning-type super multi-view display can generate approximately 1,000 viewpoints. However, it has low grayscale representation. In this study, the grayscale is represented using multiple viewpoints and the image intensity is altered for different viewpoints to improve the grayscale representation. Moreover, because the vertical resolution is much higher than the horizontal one, the one-dimensional screening technique is applied in the vertical direction.
