Surface Estimation of AR marker on Cylindrical Objects

(in English) This paper proposes a method that detects an AR(Augmented Reality) marker on a cylinder and su-perposes an image onto real scene. First, binarization is performed in brightness component of an obtained image in order to extract an AR marker. Next, the pattern domain was approximated in the line segment sequence for obtain vertexes. Then, the inner region of the marker is extracted by using a feature of AR marker structure and approximated by several segments. Finally, an image is superposed into real scene by warping based on the detected segments.
