3DTVの放送方式には，左右映像の符号化・伝送方法の異なるいくつかの方式があり，2DTV放送方式との互換性や2DTV受信機での受信・表示などが異なる．電波産業会(ARIB)では，3DTV放送方式の選定に関係する基本要求条件を設定し，要求条件に応じて最適な放送方式を選定した． |

There are several possible 3DTV broadcasting systems with different schemes for coding and transmission of the left and right images. Each system has different compatibility with the 2DTV broadcasting system and different reception/display capability by 2DTV receivers. ARIB has set the basic requirements that would govern the selection of a 3DTV broadcasting system, and has indicated the most suitable system that satisfies each set of the requirements. |
