When building a conventional virtual system at a relay spot, various task exists compared to the operation at the head office, such as equipment procurement cost, spot preparation time, work environment, etc.
Thereupon, to solve these tasks, TV Asahi developed and put to practical use on live broadcast "The VANC system (Vertical ANCillary inserter)" which interlocks real time to the head office virtual system with the image data transmitted from the relay spot that has superimposed camera position data etc. to the Ancillary space of HD-SDI.
As a result, most of the tasks were solved and large production cost cut, allowing moment correction and adjustment before relay virtual effect broadcast was achieved. |
