(in English) We propose a new DFD (Depth-fused 3-D) display, called Edge-based DFD, whose front or rear image is only the edge part of the desired 3D image. Conventional DFD display is composed of front and rear displays which enables a depth perception by changing luminance ratio in the two overlapped images. In edge-based DFD display, perceived depth can be successfully obtained only by changing edge luminesce.
