In our research, we propose a system for affecting our satisfaction during drinking beverage implicitly and control beverage consumption by createing an illusion of volume perception with augmented reality.It is revealed that the form of a container such as a glass and a cup influences beverage consumption.Based on the knowledge, we constructed a system which changes the apparent size of the cup.We had a basic experiment to investigate how the consumption would change by using this system.The results showed that subjects consumed significantly greater amounts when they drink with a visually lengthened cup relative to a visually shortened cup.
