We propose cathode luminescence excited in Y2O3:Eu3+ fluorescence thin films as a nanometric light source for super resolution optical microscope. Here, we report post-annealing conditions for improving CL quantum efficiency of Y2O3:Eu3+ thin films prepared by electron-beam evaporation methods. The CL quantum efficiencies were also investigated as functions of film thickness as well as the accelarating voltage. The images of gold nano particles with 100 nm-average diameter was constructed with the super resolution optical microscopes using Y2O3:Eu3+ thin films. |
