Characteristic of impact positions during users' hitting movements, and new technique to estimate impact positions before impact by using it

(in English) This paper examine whether the authors’ proposed technique for interaction between users’ bodies and 3-D images is applicable to interaction where users hit 3-D images. The investigation on characteristics of hitting-movements suggests that the proposed technique can be applied to hitting-interaction by using the characteristic of the impact positions that are the same as the positions of 3-D images. The method for applying is proposed, and is evaluated by using data that are collected under conditions where user actually hit real objects. The results of the evaluation indicate that the proposed technique can be applied to hitting-interaction.
