Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) This paper presents an improved method for accurate error concealment using kalman filter. Since our previous work uses the state transition model based on only motion vectors estimated for each macro block, it is difficult to adjust to the rotation and scale change, transformation of objects in missing areas. In order to improve the reconstruction performance, we extend the state transition model by using a warping model. By estimating the intensities of the missing areas based on the new state transition model including the warping scheme, whose temporal correspondence can be successfully obtained, accurate reconstruction based on kalman filter can be expected.
