Hybrid broadcasting started using HbbTV, YouView, and Hybridcast systems, and various new services, such as rich program-related contents distribution and catch-up service, are provided. Smart TVs connected to Internet services have been in the market, and services which use smartphone and tablet as a second screen are being provided. While these hybrid services are spread out, viewers’ intention, what viewers expect for hybrid broadcasting, is not clear. Thus we had a questionnaire that collected viewers’ intentions on hybrid broadcast by net research service, and reviewed direction of hybrid broadcasting. |
