On Object Retrieval from Similar Instances

(in English) We study an object retrieval problem in which the database contains only visually similar instances. In such the case, using all the key-points extracted from the images does not yield adequate retrieval performance, since most of them are very similar and not discriminative at all. In this paper, we evaluate several key-point selection approaches on two different datasets, and report the results and some insights obtained through the experiments.
