Numerical Analysis Using the Method of Moments of the Plasmon Resonance Absorption by the Noble Metal Disks

(in English) The characteristics of scattering and absorption of electromagnetic waves by a two-dimensional grating of thin noble metal disks are obtained by numerical analysis. A set of integral equations for the unknown surface current density on the disks are derived by generalized boundary conditions and solved numerically using the method of moments. We apply the transverse magnetic field of the circular waveguide modes as the basis function. The reflected, transmitted, and absorbed powers are computed for several grating parameters.
