Optimization of phase pattern for reduction of DC components in holographic data storages

(in English) We've been developing super large-capacity high-speed holographic data storage system. The recording medium is improving gradually to the direction of the performance we need such as improvement of the M#, and it is demanded by a drive design that monomers in the recording medium consume sufficiently. In a cross shift multiplexing recording method which is our recording method by using both shift multiplexing with spherical reference wave and rotating medium. In this paper, we report the result that analyzed phase mask optimization for elimination of DC components by using simulation and experiment for especially 9-16 and run length limited modulation code.
