Stimulus duration dependency of surface quality judgment -- relationship to image features --

(in English) In this study, we measured effects of stimulus durations for surface quality judgment. In addition, we analyzed these results focusing on the relationship to image features, and discussed processing mechanism in the visual system for various surface qualities likes glossiness, transparency. In the results, response stability was significant different between surface qualities when stimulus durations were shot, and specific surface qualities strongly related response stability and low-level image features. These results suggest that the mechanisms underlying various surface qualities processing may different.
