A Study of SC-FDE on Millimeter-wave band Transmission System -- Toward the Realization of 8K Super Hi-Vision Wireless Camera --

(in English) The authors have been studying on single-carrier transmission with frequency domain equalization (SC-FDE) for 8K Super Hi-Vision millimeter-wave band wireless cameras, where compactness and power-efficiency are required. In this report, applying 32-QAM (Quadrature Amplitude Modulation) and 32-APSK (Amplitude Phase Shift Keying), the deterioration through a millimeter-wave power amplifier and the transmission performance with forward error correction were simulated. As a result, compared with Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM), it is showed that SC-FDE can gain large link margin in the link budget.
