Stereoscopic Display for All Surrounding Viewpoints by Using a New Directional Backlight of Arc 3D

(in English) Flat and thin autostereoscopic display with all surrounding viewpoints can be successfully obtained by using arc 3D display as a new directional backlight of radial parallax barrier method. Autostereoscopic images can be changed continuously corresponding to surrounding viewpoints change by applying fractional view method, although undesired neighborhood images were observed. In this paper, all surrounding viewpoints can be successfully achieved by suppressing undesired neighborhood ghost images by using arc 3D display as a new directional backlight.
