The Methods of Forming Various Aerial Images Using by Prism Sheet

(in English) Luminance problem occurs when we form an aerial image perpendicular to a table top. This research’s objective is to propose a solution to the luminance problem on forming a perpendicular aerial image. Such aerial image has an advantage for conventional method: observers concentrate the aerial image because observers cannot see the source display under the table top. Aerial imaging by retro-reflection (AIRR) is used to realize aerial display in this paper. Our solution uses a prism sheet. The prism sheet is installed on the display surface. Furthermore, we analyze various prism sheet. In addition, we propose a method to form two aerial images those are floating over both sides of the display equipment.
