Design support of scene in character joint struggle scene

(in English) In this research, we develop a struggle scene design support system that accumulates the technology and know-how of existing animation. When the director produces a storyboard or animatic, this system is used to support the design of the scene. For that purpose, we selected struggle scenes from existing animation and investigated the behavior of the characters that compose the fighting scene shot by shot. Based on the shot behavioral patterns clarified from the survey results, candidates for the next shots of the action are selected and designing of the struggle scenes is supported. As a result of the evaluation experiments, we found that the function of presenting the shots candidates of this system is effective in designing the struggle scenes.
