Procedual Animation of Trail Smoke

(in English) In recent years, it has become common to use 3DCG in movies and animation, and improvement of production technology is required. Particularly, phenomena related to fluid such as smoke, flame, and water are said to be difficult. In this research, it is representative among effects, focusing on the explosion effect which is required for diversity because of its high frequency of use in live-action photography and cell animation, etc., and among them taking up Trail Smoke which is difficult to photograph in live-action photography. Then, by controlling the shape by flowing particles to the pressure gradient, determining the pressure gradient by passing the pass so that the shape of the explosion can be more controlled, simulation of the explosion including Trail Smoke .
