[Poster Presentation] Acquisition of Appropriate Images for Scene Understanding Based on Brightness and Motion Using Interleave Exposure Control

(in English) We propose the method of acquisition of appropriate images for scene understanding. We acquire images with various exposures and frame rates simultaneously by controlling the exposure pattern of the image sensor in a 2×2 pixel block unit. Controlling exposure pattern to obtain only the images appropriate for scene understanding, we suppress the decrease of the spatial resolution of the images. We show the effectiveness of our proposed method by the system we constructed using our prototype image sensor.
