Isothremal switching of perpendicular exchange bias using magnetoelectric effect

(in English) We investigated the reversal of interfacial uncompensated antiferromagnetic (AFM) spins and accompanying reversal of the perpendicular exchange bias based on the magnetoelectric (ME) effect in Pt/Co/Au/Cr2O3/Pt stacked films in which Cr2O3 acts as a ME AFM layer. We also demonstrate the dynamics of switching by using pulse voltage. In particular, we show that the fast switching below 10 ns is possible by applying pulse voltage with an amplitude above twice of the DC threshold voltage. In this article, we review our recent results on the isotheral reversible perpendicular exchange bias using the ME effect including the above dynamics.
