Analysis of tripod vibration for high-definition image
Souta Kikuchi, Kazuki Nishi (UEC)
Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) Tripods are useful for reducing the image blurring that is caused by vibrations produced at the moment the shutter clicked. There have not been any studies on quantitative and mechanical analysis of how much vibrations are suppressed depending on the mounting position of camera and the material of tripod. In this study, the tripod vibrations are measured precisely by using our developed vibration measurement system, and the results are analyzed based on the dynamic model of tripod.
