Accommodation measurement for viewing-zone scanning holographic display

(in English) Holography is an ideal three-dimensional display technique which does not cause visual fatigue due to the vergence-accommodation conflict. However, the electronic holography has the problem of a narrow viewing zone angle and a small screen size. To address this problem, we have developed the horizontally scanning holographic display techniques. Two types of scanning systems have been developed, such as, the screen scanning type and the viewing-zone scanning type. The accommodation responses to the screen scanning holographic display have already been reported. In this study, the accommodation responses to the viewing-zone scanning holographic display are presented.
