Synchronize Method Experiments for IP Remote Production

(in English) In order to realize the IP Live production system, standardization is advanced mainly on SMPTE and AMWA. In the IP production system, remote production using IP bidirectional transmission is expected. In remote production, it is necessary to establish time synchronization between the venue and the broadcasting station. PTP method and GPS method can be considered as synchronization method between long distance points, but verification in actual environment is not done. In this paper, we report on the establishment of synchronous system and 8K remote production in actual environment using commercial line between Osaka and Tokyo.
